A massive fire erupted in a 13-story tower block in East London, prompting a swift response from the London Fire Brigade. The blaze, which started at a data center on Nutmeg Lane in Blackwall, E14, at around 4:52 am, was caused by a fire in a basement battery room storing approximately 200 LED acid batteries. The fire was brought under control by 6:43 am, thanks to the efforts of eight fire engines and around 60 firefighters from various stations, including Poplar, Millwall, Plaistow, Stratford, East Ham, and East Greenwich. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, and the London Fire Brigade is working to determine the exact circumstances that led to this incident.
