This achievement marks a significant milestone in the team's history, as they broke their own previous record of 1:18.96, which was set at the East meet just earlier that day. The relay team consisted of Nathan Foucu, Clark Apuada, Isaac Litwiller, and Tyler Porter, each contributing to the team's success with their individual splits. Foucu led off with a personal best of 19.87, marking his first time under 20 seconds, while Litwiller's split of 19.29 was a standout performance, even compared to his previous 50-meter freestyle split of 20.17.
